The International Union of Elevator Constructors marked two major milestones during our 33rd Convention: our 125th anniversary and the beginning of a new term of leadership.
As we celebrated 125 years of history, service and solidarity, our officers were sworn in to begin their terms and carry our union’s legacy forward.
The 33rd Convention brought together IUEC members and leaders from across the United States and Canada to reflect on our union’s history, celebrate our accomplishments and look ahead to the future of the elevator industry.
The significance of this moment was not lost on those in attendance. For 125 years, our members have helped build and advance the elevator industry while standing together to promote safety, training, skilled craftsmanship and better working lives for our members.
As this leadership team begins its term, we also recognize the generations of leaders who came before us. Their dedication and service helped build the foundation on which our union stands today.
Now, that legacy continues.
