Members of IUEC Local 5 are performing elevator installation work at the Morgan Center for Research and Innovation at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a 17-story facility dedicated to advancing pediatric research and patient care.
The project includes the installation of 11 elevator systems designed to support movement throughout the building for patients, staff, researchers, and visitors. The work is being completed in coordination with ongoing construction activities on a complex, multi-use medical and research facility.
This installation reflects the technical expertise required for vertical transportation systems in advanced healthcare environments, where reliability, precision, and safety are essential.
The Morgan Center represents a significant addition to CHOP’s research infrastructure, supported in part by the skilled work of IUEC members.
